Rooney, the happy owner! I started Rose Path
Weaving because, as a weaver, I couldn't find fiber
and weaving tools in the East Texas area. I wanted
to offer a wide range of natural fibers and yarns.
We have cotton, linen, wool, silk and the newest
fibers, bamboo and soy. I also wanted to offer
classes for weaving, but also knitting, crocheting,
spinning (on a spinning wheel, not a bicycle!) I
wanted to have some of the talented people in this
area to work for me. Michelle Hudson, Janice Kelly,
Erin Westmoreland and Diane Brown are passionate
about their chosen arts, and we all are interested
in anything concerning fiber. We'd love for anyone
to come by and sit and knit (or whatever you like to
do) with us, and we love "show and tell", to share
ideas and actually see how a particular yarn knits
up or weaves.
